Product Definition
State grade, ASTM standard and revision, seamless or welded route, OD, wall, length, tolerances, condition and surface. Heat-exchanger tube orders should also define straightness, ends and eddy-current, hydrostatic or pneumatic testing as required.
Fabrication and Inspection
Tube quality alone cannot correct unsuitable tubesheet material, expansion, weld procedure, crevice design or galvanic coupling. Review the complete equipment system.
