Grade 2 and Grade 7 are commercially pure titanium families with different corrosion-selection intent. Grade 7 includes palladium and should be chosen only after reviewing the complete chemical environment and design.

Service Review
Provide medium, concentration, temperature, aeration, impurities, pressure, crevices, flow and upset conditions. Grade 7 is not automatically necessary or sufficient for every aggressive environment.
