Product Detail
Product Introduction
Titanium Forged Bar is supplied for corrosion-resistant fabrication and precision manufacturing. The final purchase definition must identify the exact material designation, governing specification and revision, dimensions, condition, tolerances, tests and documentation; trade-name or cross-standard equivalence is not assumed.
What distinguishes titanium forged bar from rolled bar?
Selection answer: Forged bar is produced through forging reduction and is selected when section size, grain structure, mechanical requirements or the governing specification calls for a forged route. Define round or other section, dimensions and condition.
Selection boundary: Forged and rolled bar can have different applicable standards, test locations, surface conditions and ultrasonic acceptance. Do not substitute one route based only on nominal diameter and grade.
RFQ data to confirm: Provide grade and specification, section and dimensions, length, condition, machining allowance, quantity or total weight, forging reduction or class if required, test orientation, UT, surface NDE, MTC and traceability.
