What Are Titanium Threaded Fittings? Types and Ordering Basics
Titanium threaded fittings are compact piping components with internal or external pipe threads. They are used when corrosion resistance, low mass and detachable or space-efficient joints are required. The term covers several products, and each has a different function.

Material and Standards
The titanium grade must be stated together with the product form and governing requirements. ASME B16.52 covers titanium and titanium-alloy forged fittings with threaded and socket-welding ends within its scope. ASME B1.20.1 may define NPT-family thread dimensions and gaging when invoked. Special geometry or another thread system requires a complete order definition.
