Base Metal and Filler Compatibility

ERTi-2 is commonly evaluated when welding Grade 2 commercially pure titanium, while ERTi-7 is evaluated for compatible palladium-alloyed applications. ERTi-5 is Ti-6Al-4V filler and serves a different material family. The approved welding procedure and engineering review control the final selection; matching a trade name alone is insufficient.
