Product Detail
Product Introduction
ERTi-5 Titanium Welding Wire is a clean titanium filler metal for GTAW, GMAW or other qualified welding processes as applicable. Filler classification must be selected with the base metal, corrosion environment, joint design, shielding practice, welding procedure and required weld-metal acceptance.
Product Specifications
| Product | ERTi-5 Titanium Welding Wire | Grade | ERTi-5 / Ti-6Al-4V welding wire |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | AWS A5.16 / A5.16M and ISO 24034 may classify titanium and titanium-alloy welding wire and rods. The qualified welding procedure, base material and project requirements control filler selection and weld acceptance. | Size & Form | Spool or coil wire and straight TIG rods; diameter, package weight, spool type and rod length by RFQ |
| Tolerance | AWS/ISO classification and order-defined diameter, cast, helix, straightness and surface requirements | Supply Condition | Clean bright wire in precision-layer-wound spools, protected coils or straight filler-rod bundles |
| Inspection | Classification and certificate review, chemistry, diameter, straightness or cast and helix, surface cleanliness, spool winding, batch identification and heat/lot traceability. | Documents | MTC, heat/lot traceability and agreed inspection reports |

FAQ
Can titanium welding wire be selected only from the base-metal grade?
No. Filler selection must follow the qualified welding procedure, applicable code, joint design, corrosion requirements and project acceptance criteria.
Why are surface cleanliness and packaging important?
Titanium welding is sensitive to contamination. Clean surface, protected packaging and controlled handling help prevent weld defects and loss of corrosion performance.
What information is required for quotation?
Provide AWS/ISO classification, diameter, spool/coil/rod form, package weight or rod length, quantity, process, base metal, tests and certificates.
