Product Detail
Product Introduction
Titanium rivets create permanent mechanical joints where low mass and corrosion compatibility are required. Selection must define whether installation has access to one or both sides, the rivet type, titanium grade, head form, shank diameter, length or grip range, hole preparation, installation method and finished-joint acceptance.
Product Specifications
| Product | Titanium Rivets | Grade | Titanium Grade 2 or Grade 5 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Dimensional forms may reference an expressly invoked aerospace, ISO, DIN or customer drawing. Many published rivet standards are material-specific; the purchase order must separately confirm titanium grade, condition, finished-rivet tests and approved installation requirements. | Size & Form | Solid or blind forms; head, shank diameter, length or grip range, hole size and installation access by drawing or approved standard |
| Tolerance | Order-defined head, shank, length, straightness, concentricity and grip-range acceptance | Supply Condition | Cold headed, machined or assembled blind-rivet form as approved; cleaned and lot identified |
| Inspection | Available controls include MTC review, head and shank dimensions, length or grip range, visual condition, lot traceability and agreed shear, tensile, mandrel-retention or installation checks where applicable. | Documents | MTC, heat/lot traceability and agreed inspection reports |

Application Scenarios

Aerospace panels and lightweight structures
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.

Marine equipment and corrosion-resistant enclosures
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.

Chemical-process covers, guards and equipment assemblies
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.
FAQ
When should a blind rivet be used?
A blind rivet is considered when installation is possible from only one side. Grip range, mandrel retention, installation tool and service requirements must be specified.
Are titanium rivets interchangeable with aluminum or steel rivets?
No. Material, stiffness, strength, hole preparation, forming or installation load and galvanic compatibility require joint-specific review.
What information is needed for quotation?
Provide grade, rivet type, head, diameter, length or grip range, clamped thickness, hole, quantity, installation method, tests and documents.
