Product Detail

Product Introduction

Grade 2 flange nuts combine a hex nut body with an integrated flange that distributes bearing load over a wider area. Joint approval must define whether the flange is plain or serrated, the mating surface, thread tolerance, torque method, reuse policy and corrosion environment.

Typical inquiry ranges are not a stock guarantee. Final manufacturability, tolerances and test requirements are confirmed against the complete RFQ.

Selection and Configuration

  • Plain flange: Provides a wider bearing surface without relying on serrations for resistance to rotation.
  • Serrated flange: Requires validation against the mating surface, coating, reuse policy and permitted surface marking.
  • Mating joint: Specify bolt material, thread tolerance, bearing surface, lubrication and installation torque procedure.
Standards and ordering definition: DIN 6923, ISO 4161 and ASME B18 references may be reviewed for dimensional geometry when expressly specified. They do not by themselves establish Grade 2 titanium chemistry, mechanical properties or finished-nut acceptance requirements.

FAQ

What information is required to quote Grade 2 Titanium Flange Nuts?

Provide the titanium grade, product form, dimensional standard or drawing, thread or critical dimensions, quantity, surface treatment, mating parts, service conditions and required inspection documents.

Which standards apply to Grade 2 Titanium Flange Nuts?

DIN 6923, ISO 4161 and ASME B18 references may be reviewed for dimensional geometry when expressly specified. They do not by themselves establish Grade 2 titanium chemistry, mechanical properties or finished-nut acceptance requirements.

How are Grade 2 Titanium Flange Nuts inspected?

Available inspection includes MTC review, across-flats, height and flange diameter measurement, serration inspection where applicable, thread gauging, visual examination and heat/lot traceability.
