Product Detail
Product Introduction
A titanium tube sheet is a thick machined exchanger component that positions tubes and transfers loads into the shell or channel. Material route, clad or solid construction, hole geometry, ligaments, gasket faces and tube-to-tubesheet joint details must follow the approved equipment drawing.
Product Specifications
| Product | Titanium Tube Sheet | Grade | Titanium Grade 2, Grade 7, Grade 12 or specified alloy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Raw plate or forging may be procured to ASTM B265, ASTM B381 or another approved material specification as applicable. The finished tube sheet is controlled by the equipment drawing, design code, machining tolerances and approved inspection plan. | Size & Form | Round, segmented or drawing-specific tube sheet by diameter, thickness, hole pattern and machined features |
| Tolerance | Approved drawing tolerances for diameter, thickness, flatness, holes, pitch, ligaments, grooves and faces | Supply Condition | Rough or finish machined, solid or approved clad construction, protected faces and holes in export cases |
| Inspection | Raw-material certificate and traceability, PMI when specified, diameter and thickness, hole mapping and gauging, pitch and ligament checks, face flatness and finish, groove dimensions, visual inspection and specified NDE. | Documents | MTC, heat/lot traceability and agreed inspection reports |

Services We Can Provide
Product Packaging
Blocks and forgings are protected at machined surfaces, secured on pallets or in export cases, and identified by grade, heat, dimensions and quantity.
Application Scenarios

Shell-and-tube heat exchangers
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.

Condensers and evaporators
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.

Chemical, desalination and marine equipment
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.
FAQ
Is a titanium tube sheet simply a perforated plate?
No. It is a designed pressure-equipment component with controlled raw material, thickness, hole pattern, ligaments, faces, joints, tolerances and inspection.
Can a tube sheet be made from plate or forging?
The permitted raw-material route depends on section size, equipment design, code and approved specification. State the required route in the RFQ.
What drawing data is essential?
Provide overall geometry, hole layout and tolerance, grooves, gasket and bolting faces, tube projection, material route, NDE and documentation.
