Product Detail
Product Introduction
Titanium mesh is a product-family term, not a complete specification. It can mean woven wire mesh, slit-and-stretched expanded metal or perforated titanium sheet. These forms use different raw stock, opening measurements, strength paths and edge definitions. First select the manufacturing form; then specify titanium grade, geometry, dimensions, condition and inspection.
Product Specifications
| Product | Titanium Mesh | Grade | Titanium Grade 1, Grade 2 or specified alloy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | There is no single dimensional description that covers every titanium mesh form. The RFQ must identify woven, expanded or perforated construction and invoke the applicable raw-material specification plus a finished-product drawing or dimensional schedule. | Size & Form | Mesh product family in sheets, cut panels or rolls as feasible; exact opening, section dimensions, width and length by RFQ |
| Tolerance | Drawing or order-defined opening, wire/strand/sheet size, pitch, open area, cut size, edge and flatness requirements | Supply Condition | Clean mill-finish sheets, panels or rolls with edge protection, interleaving and export packing |
| Inspection | Inspection follows the selected form: wire and aperture data for woven mesh; SWD/LWD, strand and bond data for expanded metal; or hole, pitch, pattern and margin data for perforated sheet, together with material traceability and finished dimensions. | Documents | MTC, heat/lot traceability and agreed inspection reports |

Chemical Composition
Weight percent; maximum unless a range is shown. Titanium is the balance. The ordered specification and grade control.

Mechanical Properties – Annealed Material Reference
| Grade | Ultimate Tensile Strength min | 0.2% Yield Strength min | Elongation min |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grade 1 | 240 MPa | 170 MPa | 24% |
| Grade 2 | 345 MPa | 275 MPa | 20% |
Representative minima only. Product form, section size, heat treatment and the invoked specification determine the certified acceptance values.
Typical Physical Properties

Services We Can Provide
Product Packaging
Sheet and plate surfaces are interleaved or wrapped as required, protected at edges and secured on pallets or in export cases with grade, heat and dimensional identification. Typical export packaging for the same physical product form is shown below; final packing is confirmed for each order.

Application Scenarios

Chemical filtration and separation
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.

Electrochemical electrodes and current collectors
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.

Marine, aerospace and industrial screening or guards
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.
FAQ
Which titanium mesh form should I request?
Use woven mesh for interlaced-wire screening, expanded metal for an integral slit-and-stretched network, and perforated sheet for rigid panels with controlled punched or cut holes.
Can open area be compared directly between all mesh forms?
It can be compared as a percentage only after each form is fully defined. Similar open area does not mean equal stiffness, flow behavior, edge condition or load path.
What is the first item to include in an RFQ?
State the manufacturing form—woven, expanded or perforated—before giving opening and size data.
