Product Introduction

ERTi-5 Titanium Welding Wire is a clean titanium filler metal for GTAW, GMAW or other qualified welding processes as applicable. Filler classification must be selected with the base metal, corrosion environment, joint design, shielding practice, welding procedure and required weld-metal acceptance.

What distinguishes ERTi-5 welding wire?

Selection answer: ERTi-5 is Ti-6Al-4V filler metal for qualified welding of compatible Grade 5-family alloy constructions where weld strength, ductility and service requirements support its use.

Selection boundary: Do not replace ERTi-2 or ERTi-7 with ERTi-5 merely because Grade 5 has higher base-metal strength. Alloy weldability, heat input, restraint, shielding, post-weld condition and finished-joint acceptance must be addressed by the WPS.

RFQ data to confirm: State filler classification, base-metal grades and conditions, welding process, diameter, spool or rod format, joint thickness and restraint, shielding procedure, heat treatment if any, required weld tests, quantity and traceability.

No. Filler selection must follow the qualified welding procedure, applicable code, joint design, corrosion requirements and project acceptance criteria.
