Product Detail
Product Introduction
A titanium 180-degree return bend reverses the piping direction and is used in heat-transfer circuits, coils and compact return layouts. Its geometry is defined by outside diameter or NPS, wall, center-to-center spacing, centerline radius, tangent lengths, end relationship and ovality—not simply by the 180-degree angle.

Typical ranges are quotation guidance, not a stock guarantee. Final availability and tolerances are confirmed against the complete RFQ and design code.
Selection and Configuration
- Return spacing: State center-to-center distance between the parallel ends and how it relates to the bend centerline radius.
- Ends and tangents: Define tangent lengths, cut planes, end parallelism, weld preparation and any unequal extensions.
- Forming quality: Control minimum wall after bending, ovality, wrinkles, surface condition and heat treatment or stress-relief requirements.

Services We Can Provide
Product Packaging
Fittings are capped or wrapped to protect clean ends, bevels, threads and machined faces. Items are separated by grade, size and heat/lot, then packed in reinforced cartons or export cases according to geometry and quantity. Typical export packaging for the same physical product form is shown below; final packing is confirmed for each order.

Application Scenarios

Chemical Processing
Corrosion-resistant piping for acids, chlorides and process media after grade compatibility review.

Power & Energy
Cooling-water, condenser and auxiliary piping requiring traceable titanium components.

Marine & Desalination
Seawater and chloride-bearing piping systems designed for the selected titanium grade.
FAQ
Is a return bend the same as two 90-degree elbows?
Not necessarily. A one-piece return bend has controlled center-to-center spacing, continuous curvature and different weld count and fabrication behavior.
Which dimensions are essential for a U-shaped return?
Provide tube or pipe size and wall, center-to-center spacing, radius, tangents, end alignment and overall envelope.
What forming checks are important?
Inspect wall thinning, ovality, wrinkles, angle, spacing, tangent alignment, surface and any specified NDE.
