Product Detail
Product Introduction
A titanium 90-degree elbow turns the piping centerline through a right angle. The fitting may be long radius, short radius or a special-radius form, with substantially different center-to-end dimensions and pressure-loss behavior. The RFQ must state radius, grade, size, wall/schedule, ends, construction and inspection in addition to the 90-degree angle.

Typical ranges are quotation guidance, not a stock guarantee. Final availability and tolerances are confirmed against the complete RFQ and design code.
Selection and Configuration
- Right-angle turn: Use where the route requires a 90-degree change and the available envelope supports the selected radius.
- LR or SR geometry: Long radius provides a larger centerline radius and envelope; short radius is more compact but changes flow more abruptly.
- Design verification: Coordinate pressure design, flexibility, erosion, support loads and fitting dimensions with the complete piping system.

Services We Can Provide
Product Packaging
Fittings are capped or wrapped to protect clean ends, bevels, threads and machined faces. Items are separated by grade, size and heat/lot, then packed in reinforced cartons or export cases according to geometry and quantity. Typical export packaging for the same physical product form is shown below; final packing is confirmed for each order.

Application Scenarios

Chemical Processing
Corrosion-resistant piping for acids, chlorides and process media after grade compatibility review.

Power & Energy
Cooling-water, condenser and auxiliary piping requiring traceable titanium components.

Marine & Desalination
Seawater and chloride-bearing piping systems designed for the selected titanium grade.
FAQ
What is the main difference between LR and SR 90-degree elbows?
Their centerline radii and center-to-end dimensions differ, which affects space, flow and system flexibility.
Can a short-radius elbow replace a long-radius elbow?
Not without piping-design approval because dimensions, pressure loss, stress and fit-up change.
Does ASME B16.9 alone specify titanium grade?
No. The order must separately invoke the titanium material specification and grade, along with dimensions and tests.
