Product Detail

Product Introduction

A titanium 45-degree elbow changes piping direction by 45 degrees with less directional change than a 90-degree elbow. It can be long-radius, short-radius or drawing-specific, so the angle alone does not complete the order. Define grade, NPS or OD, wall/schedule, centerline radius, center-to-end dimensions, end preparation, route and inspection.

Typical ranges are quotation guidance, not a stock guarantee. Final availability and tolerances are confirmed against the complete RFQ and design code.

Selection and Configuration

  • 45-degree route change: Use where the piping layout requires a gradual offset or two-elbow displacement rather than a right-angle turn.
  • Radius still required: State long radius, short radius or exact centerline radius; do not infer radius from the 45-degree name.
  • Offset coordination: Confirm installed centerlines, end-to-end spacing, rotation and any straight tangent required by the piping drawing.
Pressure-design note: Dimensional conformity does not by itself establish pressure rating. The piping designer must verify material allowable stress, wall thickness, weld joint, corrosion allowance, temperature and governing construction code.

Product Packaging

Fittings are capped or wrapped to protect clean ends, bevels, threads and machined faces. Items are separated by grade, size and heat/lot, then packed in reinforced cartons or export cases according to geometry and quantity. Typical export packaging for the same physical product form is shown below; final packing is confirmed for each order.

FAQ

Does 45-degree define the elbow radius?

No. It defines the direction change. Centerline radius or LR/SR designation must be stated separately.

Why use two 45-degree elbows?

A pair can create an offset with a different flow path and installation envelope than a single 90-degree elbow; the piping layout controls spacing and rotation.

Which dimensions should be inspected?

Verify angle, centerline radius, center-to-end dimensions, OD, wall, roundness and weld ends.
