Product Introduction

A titanium concentric reducer joins different pipe sizes while keeping the large-end and small-end centerlines aligned. Its symmetric taper is common in vertical piping and layouts where centered flow and alignment are preferred. Specify both end sizes and walls, overall length, taper, weld bevels, grade, construction route and inspection.

  • Centered axis: Large and small ends share a common centerline; confirm alignment and end roundness.
  • Installation orientation: Review horizontal liquid or gas service for drainage, vapor pockets and process behavior before choosing concentric geometry.
  • Transition dimensions: State large and small OD/NPS, walls or schedules, overall length and end preparation.
Pressure-design note: Dimensional conformity does not by itself establish pressure rating. The piping designer must verify material allowable stress, wall thickness, weld joint, corrosion allowance, temperature and governing construction code.

What is the defining feature of a concentric reducer?

The large and small circular ends share the same centerline, producing a symmetric transition.

Is a concentric reducer always suitable for horizontal piping?

No. Depending on the fluid, it may create a high gas pocket or low liquid pocket. Process and piping design should confirm.

How is alignment inspected?

Check end diameters, roundness, wall, common centerline, overall length and weld-end geometry.
