Product Detail
Product Introduction
Titanium Grade 12 Fittings connects or changes the direction, branch, size or termination of titanium piping while maintaining material compatibility and corrosion resistance. Final selection requires the titanium grade, pipe dimensions, wall thickness, geometry, end preparation, pressure design basis and inspection plan.
When should Grade 12 titanium fittings be considered?
Selection answer: Grade 12 Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni is considered for selected chemical and heat-transfer systems requiring improved crevice-corrosion behavior and higher strength than common commercially pure grades.
Selection boundary: Grade 12 is not interchangeable with Grade 2, Grade 7 or nickel alloy fittings. Qualification should use service-specific corrosion data together with the actual fitting route, welding procedure and construction code.
RFQ data to confirm: Provide fitting type, standard, NPS or OD, wall or schedule, medium, concentration, normal and upset temperatures, pressure, welding, heat treatment, NDT, quantity and traceability.

Services We Can Provide
Product Packaging
Fittings are capped or wrapped to protect clean ends, bevels, threads and machined faces. Items are separated by grade, size and heat/lot, then packed in reinforced cartons or export cases according to geometry and quantity.
Application Scenarios

Chemical Processing
Corrosion-resistant piping for acids, chlorides and process media after grade compatibility review.

Power & Energy
Cooling-water, condenser and auxiliary piping requiring traceable titanium components.

Marine & Desalination
Seawater and chloride-bearing piping systems designed for the selected titanium grade.
FAQ
What information is required to quote Titanium Grade 12 Fittings?
Provide the titanium grade, product form, dimensional standard or drawing, thread or critical dimensions, quantity, surface treatment, mating parts, service conditions and required inspection documents.
Which standards apply to Titanium Grade 12 Fittings?
ASTM B363 / ASME SB363 may control titanium welding fittings. ASME B16.9, ASME B16.11 and approved drawings may control geometry. The purchase order must identify the applicable edition, grade, dimensions, wall, ends, tests and documentation.
How are Titanium Grade 12 Fittings inspected?
Available controls include MTC review, visual and dimensional inspection, wall-thickness checks, end preparation, dye-penetrant examination, radiography or other NDT when specified, and heat/lot traceability.
