Product Introduction
Titanium Slip-On Flange is a forged and machined titanium piping component identified by its low hub and bore that fits over the pipe. Material grade, dimensional standard, nominal size, pressure class, facing, mating component and service conditions must be reviewed together.
When should a titanium slip-on flange be considered?
Selection answer: A slip-on flange fits over the pipe and is normally attached by internal and external fillet welds. It can simplify fit-up when the piping design permits this connection style.
Selection boundary: Its hub and weld geometry differ from a weld neck flange, so fatigue, bending, crevice exposure and inspection access must be reviewed. A lower purchase price alone is not a sufficient selection basis.
RFQ data to confirm: Provide grade, NPS, class, facing, flange bore, connected-pipe OD and schedule, weld procedure, design pressure and temperature, service medium, quantity, inspection and certificates.
