Product Introduction

Titanium Alloy Grade 2 Flanges is supplied for corrosion-resistant fabrication and precision manufacturing. The final purchase definition must identify the exact material designation, governing specification and revision, dimensions, condition, tolerances, tests and documentation; trade-name or cross-standard equivalence is not assumed.

When is a Grade 2 titanium flange appropriate?

Selection answer: Grade 2 is a common commercially pure titanium choice for welded process, marine and heat-transfer piping where corrosion resistance and fabrication are more important than the high strength of Grade 5.

Selection boundary: ASTM B381 or ASME SB381 defines the forged material; it does not by itself define flange geometry or pressure capability. Specify ASME B16.5 dimensions or an approved drawing, and have the piping designer verify the complete joint.

RFQ data to confirm: State NPS, class, flange type, facing, bore or matching pipe schedule, Grade 2 material specification, medium, design temperature and pressure, tests, quantity and documentation.
