Product Detail
Product Introduction
Titanium Grade 3 Sheet & Plate is supplied for corrosion-resistant fabrication and precision manufacturing. The final purchase definition must identify the exact material designation, governing specification and revision, dimensions, condition, tolerances, tests and documentation; trade-name or cross-standard equivalence is not assumed.
When is Grade 3 sheet or plate selected?
Selection answer: Grade 3 is a commercially pure grade positioned between Grade 2 and Grade 4 in strength. It is considered when more minimum strength than Grade 2 is needed while retaining a commercially pure titanium material family.
Selection boundary: Its higher strength generally means less forming latitude than lower-strength CP grades. Confirm forming severity, weld procedure and product availability before replacing Grade 2 or Grade 4.
RFQ data to confirm: State thickness, dimensions, condition, minimum mechanical requirements, forming operations, welding and surface acceptance.
