Product Detail
Product Introduction
Titanium capillary tube is precision small-bore tubing used where flow passage, wall consistency, cleanliness and forming condition matter. The exact product specification depends on dimensions, manufacturing route and application, so every order should identify OD, ID or wall and acceptance method.
Product Specifications
| Product | Titanium Capillary Tube | Grade | Commercially pure titanium Grade 2 or specified alloy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | ASTM B338 or ASTM B861 may apply depending on tube form, grade, dimensions and intended service. Very small or special capillary sizes are often controlled by an approved drawing and supplementary inspection requirements. | Size & Form | Small-bore straight lengths or coils; OD, ID/wall, length and coil dimensions by RFQ |
| Tolerance | Drawing or applicable product-standard OD, ID/wall, ovality, straightness and bore requirements | Supply Condition | Annealed or order-defined condition, clean straight lengths or coils with protected and capped ends |
| Inspection | Material certificate, OD and ID or wall checks, bore or plug-gauge verification, ovality, straightness or coil dimensions, surface and bore cleanliness, end inspection and traceability. | Documents | MTC, heat/lot traceability and agreed inspection reports |

Services We Can Provide
Product Packaging
Pipe and tube ends are capped, surfaces are wrapped where required, and bundles or export cases are identified by grade, size, heat and quantity.
Application Scenarios

Instrumentation and sampling lines
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.

Precision fluid and gas handling
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.

Chemical, laboratory and specialty equipment
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.
FAQ
How is capillary tube size specified?
Use OD plus ID or wall thickness, with tolerances and a bore acceptance method. A nominal trade name alone is not sufficient.
Can titanium capillary tube be supplied in coils?
Yes for suitable dimensions and conditions. State coil ID/OD, length, annealed condition, ovality and end-protection requirements.
Why must bore cleanliness be specified?
Residue and particles can affect small passages, so cleanliness method, capping and acceptance should be defined for sensitive service.
