Product Detail
Product Introduction
Precision titanium strip is narrow cold-rolled or slit product supplied where thickness, width, edge quality, camber, flatness and winding quality affect downstream stamping, forming, welding or assembly. The exact grade and product specification must be stated because one set of properties does not apply to every titanium alloy.
Product Specifications
| Product | Precision Titanium Strip | Grade | Titanium Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 5 or specified alloy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | ASTM B265 / ASME SB265 may control commercially pure and alloy strip where applicable. Aerospace strip may require an expressly invoked AMS specification. The purchase order controls grade, condition, dimensions and supplementary inspection. | Size & Form | Narrow slit strip or coil; thickness, width, coil ID/OD, maximum weight and cut-length option by RFQ |
| Tolerance | Order-defined thickness, width, camber, flatness, edge and burr limits | Supply Condition | Cold rolled, annealed and slit; pickled, bright or order-defined surface with protected edges |
| Inspection | MTC review, thickness and width measurement, camber and flatness, slit-edge and burr inspection, surface examination, coil build and heat/lot traceability. | Documents | MTC, heat/lot traceability and agreed inspection reports |

Services We Can Provide
Product Packaging
Coils and slit strip are wrapped against moisture and edge damage, secured on skids or in export cases, and labeled with grade, heat, size, coil weight and edge condition.
Application Scenarios

Precision stamped and formed parts
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.

Aerospace and industrial shims
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.

Chemical and electrochemical components
Material grade, dimensions, condition and inspection must be matched to the application requirements.
FAQ
What makes titanium strip a precision product?
The order controls tighter or function-specific thickness, width, camber, flatness, edge, burr, surface and coil-build requirements.
Can Grade 2 and Grade 5 use the same forming process?
Not automatically. Their strength and formability differ, so grade, condition, tooling, bend radius and process qualification require separate review.
What information is needed for quotation?
Provide grade, thickness and tolerance, width, edge and burr, camber, surface, coil dimensions, weight, quantity, tests and certificates.
