ASTM B363 / ASME SB363 for titanium and titanium-alloy fittings; dimensions may reference ASME B16.9, ASME B16.11 or the approved drawing.
Commercially pure and alloy fitting grades are selected to match the piping material, welding procedure, corrosion environment and governing specification.
Elbows, tees, concentric or eccentric reducers, caps, stub ends and drawing-specific titanium pipe fittings are specified by outside diameter or NPS, wall thickness or schedule, end preparation, center-to-end dimensions and tolerance. State whether the fitting is seamless, welded, formed, forged or fabricated when the route is design-controlled.
MTC, heat/lot traceability, dimensional and visual inspection; PMI, liquid-penetrant, radiographic or other NDT when required by the order.
