Product Introduction

Precision titanium strip is narrow cold-rolled or slit product supplied where thickness, width, edge quality, camber, flatness and winding quality affect downstream stamping, forming, welding or assembly. The exact grade and product specification must be stated because one set of properties does not apply to every titanium alloy.

What makes a titanium strip order precision-controlled?

Selection answer: Precision strip is defined by tighter and application-specific control of thickness, width, edge, camber, flatness, coil geometry and surface rather than by the word precision alone.

Selection boundary: A nominal grade and size do not establish stamping, spring, welding or continuous-processing performance. The acceptable mill route, slit-edge condition, burr direction, mechanical properties and inspection frequency must match the downstream line.

RFQ data to confirm: Provide grade and specification, thickness and tolerance, width and tolerance, coil ID/OD and weight, slit edge and burr limits, camber and flatness, surface, temper or condition, application, sampling plan, total quantity and certificates.
