Product Introduction
Titanium Grade 1 Coil is supplied for corrosion-resistant fabrication and precision manufacturing. The final purchase definition must identify the exact material designation, governing specification and revision, dimensions, condition, tolerances, tests and documentation; trade-name or cross-standard equivalence is not assumed.
When is Grade 1 titanium coil the right choice?
Selection answer: Grade 1 is the lowest-strength and most ductile commercially pure titanium grade commonly considered for coil and strip that will undergo deep drawing, severe forming or repeated shaping.
Selection boundary: Do not select Grade 1 solely because it forms readily. The finished part must still meet required minimum strength, thickness tolerance, surface condition and corrosion performance; Grade 2 may be more appropriate when higher strength is needed.
RFQ data to confirm: Provide ASTM B265 revision, thickness and tolerance, width, coil ID/OD and weight, edge, surface, required forming severity, grain direction if relevant, flatness or camber limits, quantity and inspection documents.
